Function Unknown, 2017
Ceramic, walnut, jesmonite, wool felt, plywood
Exhibited at The Old Truman Brewery, London

Using layered storytelling, wordplay, and montage, Function Unknown proposes a situation for the viewer to dismantle, build upon or complete stories that are tied to objects. Installed as a museum handling collection, the objects in this work become activated when moved, paired, or discarded, exploring the complicated and often flawed dance between our imagination and reality.
